I am very touched by what my parents had done today. And i know its supposed to be proud parents on my convocation, but I am a proud daughter on this day. For my papa taking the role of a "bf-cum-best friends" when he got me those flowers and bear like he said he will... Yen got hers too. The lion that we all called bear! (pls refer to picture below) And my mummy for standing up for me. I understand why the rush of the event might not have pleased them as they could not stay as long as they will liked to, but i am glad that they went along with me. =)

And thank you yen for the gray minkey! I mention it twice in passing. Once when i saw it. Another time while dreaming up my room deco. And she got it for me as she wont be able to attend my convocation due to an interview. (Thank you to yu, who did chip in) =) Did not know getting a soft toy at my age, can actually be such a good feeling, hugging it to sleep ....

Hotaru no Hikari

Hotaru works for a famous interior design company. It's a glamorous job but Hotaru's private life is totally the opposite of glamorous. She lives alone, and when she isn't working she's mostly lazing about her rented house in training wear. She's not interested in men. In fact, she isn't interested in anything. "I'd rather lay around than fool around," is her motto.

Her landlord is a bar owner, and one day his son, who has just separated from his wife, comes to inspect the rental property, not knowing that someone is living there. He is shocked at the mess, but not as shocked as Hotaru. He turns out to be her boss, Takano. -- Japan Times Online

The show is really light hearted and i enjoy the chemistry between the two leads. And somehow the contrast of "loc-kok" home wear and prettier outfits for outside makes me smile. I mean having the hair and fringe all up is soooo comfortable and laying around, heavens! Watch it for the nice OL fashion wear as well. And if there's one thing i bring away from the show- that sometimes we fall in love with the idea of love.

Yen's commencement was followed shortly after our G.G super delicious,cheap,enjoyable $12 dinner and dessert tour of chinatown. It was a rather mad rush to NUS on the day itself, where we chase flowers,train,bus but glad yu went with me. =) Saw many of her friends and male "leads" as well. Hahaa.. They had lots of food at reception I guess, but I only had the pasta and cutesy cupcake which was all not bad!

Lots to look forward to this coming week. And its great that finally my job searching may just come to a good end. HAHAHA. I have gym to look forward to every sunday with yu. Its always fun and been since long that i enjoy exercising midst beautiful scenary. Pictures soon~ And then the BBQ at Jolene's Chalet! And Kuishin bo dinner next week! Grow chummbier plan might work with MY BKK TRIP soon as well. Lots of things to settle and planning but i am sure we will have fun. Convocation next wednesday which i planned to make it a short short affair. Then its to bkk in less than 12 hours.


One of the job that i am keen in has gotten back to me despite my "2800" request.(Getting back to me- is read here as a good sign Hahahha) But then not sure if i am that lucky or what, but shall wait for the confirmation email. Figure crossed + and there are two other jobs interviews coming up which will put me closer to my B&F dreams. Whats great about these, are the amount of training they will invest on the newbies and that its a sales job. OK, I have not exactly proven to be a excellent salesperson so it might not be so great afterall. =( And I like that i have an interview scheduled like 2 hours after my convocation and I seriously hoped that I can pull that off!!! Then I can truly enjoy my bkk 6 days holiday!

Dreamer

I look at those young ones in their office wear, and felt envy! To have a job that early. And also maybe because they seem sure of their direction in life. For my own credit, I never really gave my brain much workout lately. Happy to be idling. In my own world. So probably thats why I have not thought of much else other than, I will like to go into the banking and finance industry.
